Gökçeoğlu Oto is a car repair workshop in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Alanya, covering mechanical, electrical and servicing work on cars and light commercial vehicles. Most of our customers bring us their second and third car too.
The biggest problem in this trade is not technical, it is trust. Most drivers walk into a garage wondering whether they are about to be sold work they do not need. We work in a way that removes that question: every job is written down, every replaced part is visible, and every price is agreed before the work starts.
Conditions in Alanya are hard on cars. Summer heat stresses the cooling system and the battery, coastal humidity corrodes wiring, and hilly roads wear out brakes and clutches early. Having worked here for years, we know which faults arrive in which season — and we warn our customers before they happen.
What we believe
What makes a good mechanic is not only skill with their hands, but the ability to explain what they are doing. We do not want you making a decision without understanding what is wrong, why it happened and what the alternatives are. That is why we avoid jargon and give you the conclusion in plain language.
- We do not suggest unnecessary work. Replacing a part that is not due is short-term profit and long-term customer loss.
- We say when we do not know. On an unusual fault we research rather than guess, and refer you elsewhere if that is the right answer.
- We give the price up front. Work that starts with "we'll see later" ends in an argument.
- We follow up. After a major job we call a few days later to check how the car is running.
What is in our workshop
We work with computer diagnostic equipment, compression and leak-down testers, an air conditioning refrigerant station, brake disc measuring tools and vehicle lifts. Engine and gearbox work has its own dedicated bay, so long jobs never hold up routine servicing for other customers.

For foreign residents and visitors
Alanya has a large international community, and a significant share of our customers are foreign residents or long-stay visitors. We explain the work in English, put quotes and findings in writing when that is clearer, and keep you updated on WhatsApp while your car is with us — which removes almost all of the misunderstanding that language differences can cause.

Our workshop is close to central Alanya, on Necip Bey Caddesi. We regularly take in cars from Oba, Cikcilli, Tosmur, Kestel, Mahmutlar, Konaklı, Payallar, Avsallar, Türkler, Kargıcak and Demirtaş.
If your car will not start, call us first. We will assess it over the phone and tell you whether you need recovery; very often a simple check means the car can reach us under its own power.
